International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. So this one’s for the women of today.

The woman's hair has been done in purple as purple being the colour of International Women’s Day.  I have shown highlights in hair by using on edge quilling in different shades of purple . 

She also has a glam looking  golden coloured masquerade, which hides her insecurities and oozes out power and confidence. 

Big green leaves have been made by using alternate side looping technique. 

This artwork has a very contemporary feel and is an ideal gift for a modern woman.
