Quilled Heart Art
Hello everyone!
I have created this soft toned quilled heart-art for CraftGully DT Blog
This is quite a simple artpiece and will be an amazing addition to your room decor.
I have used the 5mm multi color strips from CraftGully. I chose multiple pastel shades to ensure a soft tone.
The simple technique of rolling the strips into buttons using slotted tool has been used. I have stuck multiple color strips to each other to ensure I get a multicolored design.
A plain white cardstock paper was chosen as the base. Further, a simple heart shape was sketched and edge quilling strip was carefully stuck along the border.
The outer part of the heart was then filled with the button coils outward. Small pink ones were used to create a scattering effect.
The combination of colors is random but all the colours sync in well together.
After making tight coiled buttons of varying sizes, I clicked this cute photograph of it. Lovely, isn't it?
This would make a wonderful Valentine Gift too!
