Dot Art With Decoupage
Hello Everyone,
I am back with a Dot Art Project that I combined with Decoupage.
I had this terracotta vase lying with me for a bit and this technique was the best one for it.
I used the Jamaican Teal shade from the Creative Genie range of chalk paints. I am simply in love with this shade. The colour is deep and did not require a second coat.
After decoupaging the awesome monochromatic napkin onto the vase, I used the Dot technique to blend the decoupage into the background! I loved the effect!
I used Black and Parchment shade along with Jamaican Teal for the dotting.
When i started out, i was wondering if the dot would drip as i was working on a vertical surface. But these Creative Genie Chalk Paints are awesome! They are thick and perfect for dot painting. They also dried quickly so that i could work without having to stop.
If you wish to take up Dot Painting, these are the paints I will always recommend!
