Embellished Handmade Rakhis
Hello everyone,
I am back with a beautiful ethnic project to share with you. But this time not one or two, I have made three designer rakhis to give you some inspiration as the Raksha Bandhan festival is just around the corner.
The first rakhi is made using gota star elements and felt flower die cuts. It looks traditional and vibrant and is perfect for anyone looking for festive touch. I really loved how it turned out to be so colourful and beautiful.
How can we forget kids while making rakhis. So the next rakhi is specifically designed for kids. For this rakhi, I have used foam sticks, ribbon and a die cut sticker which says “B – Ball Star”. Doesn’t it look cute and adorable? I am sure kids will love this and you can create this cute rakhi in any theme as per the kid's liking.
The last but not the least rakhi is made using kalash patch which is fully handmade by me. I wanted to give a designer look to my rakhi so I first drew kalash on felt sheet then I cut it out and decorated it with ball chains, rhinestones, flatbacks, etc
Lastly, I adhered it with thread, attached beads and voila - a stunning designer rakhi is ready.
So that's all for today’s post. I hope you like my trio of designer rakhis and will surely give a try to surprise your loved ones with your handmade rakhis.
